“Gnyabagam Varudae” – A Musical Celebration Honouring Music Director Bharadwaj

Chennai experienced an evening rooted in music and meaningful reflection with “Gnyabagam Varudae”, a special musical tribute honoring Music Director Bharadwaj and celebrating his enduring contribution to the Music industry.

The event was held on January 24, 2026, at Sir Mutha Venkatasubba Rao Concert Hall, Chetpet, Chennai, and witnessed a full-house audience of over 1,000 attendees, bringing together music lovers from across the city.

Canara Bank, the Title Sponsor, supported the event, which was organized by Tie Up Events and PR, owned by Vinu Hasan, in association with Raga Dreamworks, founded by Gopikrishnan.

The evening was inaugurated by Tmt. B. Yamuna Devi, IRS, Commissioner of Customs, GST and Narcotics, Chennai, Tmt. Nalini Padmanabhan, Chairman of InfiniteSeva, Vinu Hasan, Owner – Tie Up Events and PR, Gopikrishnan, Founder – Raga Dreamworks, Mr. CMR. Ananthsairam, Partner – Chettinad Sairam Logistics, Music Director Bharadwaj, and Mr. Manimaran.

Beyond music, “Gnyabagam Varudae” also carried a social purpose, extending its support to InfiniteSeva, a non-profit organization focused on community welfare. Addressing the gathering, Ms. Nalini Padmanabhan, Chairman of InfiniteSeva, expressed her gratitude to the organizersand audience for associating the musical celebration with a meaningful cause.

Bharadwaj, along with his team of musicians, presented a rich musical journey featuring over 20 songs from his career. The performance included much-loved compositions such as “Gnyabagam Varudae,” “Unai Partha Pinbu Naan,” “Sirichi Sirichi Vantha,” “Avaravar Vazhkaiyil,” and “Ovoru Pookalume,” each resonating strongly with the audience.

One of the most significant moments of the evening was the felicitation ceremony marking Bharadwaj’s 30-year journey in music. The honor was conferred by senior and respected personalities from the film industry, including Director Saran, Actor-Director Cheran, Actress Maanu, renowned veena exponent Rajhesh Vaidhya, Actor Yugi Sethu, Actor-Director Santhana Bharathi, and Actor-Director Thiagarajan.

The felicitation stood as a defining moment for Bharadwaj, celebrated on stage by industry peers and embraced by thousands of fans whose lives have been shaped by his music. “Gnyabagam Varudae” emerged as an evening that blended art, gratitude, and purpose—leaving behind memories that extend beyond the concert hall.
