Surat to host Global Virtual Bits Chess Tournament

Surat, Gujarat : Round Table of India and Ladies Circle India to host the competition from 26th October In Surat Powered By LP Savani Group of Schools . In order that the children of the nation remain active and play games even during this pandemic, Surat is doing its bit. Under this,  Round Table India and Ladies Circle India with support from 41 India, Tangent India has organized International Virtual Bits Chess Tournament from Surat in the presence of GM ViswanathanAnand, powered by *LP SAVANI GROUP OF SCHOOLS. This Tournament will begin from the 26th of October and the final round will be played on the 1stof November.

Dharmendra Savani of L.P. Savani group said, “This tournament has been named as – Make Your Move and the main aim is to uplift our society by constructing school  blocks for under privileged children. League Rounds will be played till the 31st of October”

During the Press Conference held at the Vesu Branch of the L.P. Savani Group of Schools, Mr. Priyesh Shah – National President, Round Table India and Mrs. Nidhi Karnani – National President, Ladies Circle India said, “Those willing to play this tournament can register themselves online. World’s well known Chess Player GM Vishwanathan Anand too is associated with this Online Chess Tournament. Whereas, organizations like Akhil Bhartiya Maheshwari Yuva Sangathan (ABMYS), Ekal Yuva and Hema Foundation too have extended their support. Bikaji, MANJULA KHETAN fine jewels, Euromed , & HARTEK (solar Partner) have joined as the Sponsors. Surat District Chess Association has also given their valuable contribution.

Priyesh Shah further added, “Round Table is servings 22 years , built 7141 classroom as on (30th June 2020 stats )working for the under privileged childrens Freedom through Education. We are operational in 160 cities across the Nation with currently 4500 members and imparting education to more than 78 lakh children as of now. Along with this we are also associated with the social work. We are expecting about 10,000 participants – National and International in the International Online Virtual Blitz Chess Tournament to be held from the 26th of this month. The finalists will get a chance to play with the International Champion – GM Vishwanathan Anand. Post which, the legendary player will share his experience and tips for the game and is life journey success story .”

More than 1000 players have already registered themselves for the tournament and American players too have registered amongst these 1000 players, added Mr. Priyesh Shah.
