After his hit independent songs like Na raha mera, Gori, Ala Rasi, Kisne kaha, Neend, Mumkin nahi, Kaynaat & more, Samiir’s 2022 international collaboration are now making waves in Europe & America on Spotify & other music streaming platforms. Samiir is getting attention now after a long rough journey of 12 years.
His single ‘Desert Rose’ with Berkcan Demir, Turkey’s one of the biggest producer is getting a lot of attention in Poland, Turkey & other countries. Samiir also collaborated with Russian producer Diez Dee on a peppy dance song ‘O Maharani’. Samiir also sang a jingle for Pakistan’s TUC biscuits recently which has crossed a million views on YouTube. 2022 has been all about going international for the Singer truly.
Samiir usually known for his soulful voice, versatility, vocal range & lyrics has sung over 2000 jingles & daily soap title songs till date. He has sung in English, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Russian, Sinhala, Bengali & other regional projects. Samiir has also been a Radio Jockey at All India Radio’s FM Gold channel.
Despite all the talent & hard work for years, His musical journey has been a long rough road from singing in lounges, hotels for survival, standing in long audition queues & getting rejected in singing reality shows, singing hundreds of scratches for music composers. Samiir says “In today’s times while most singers imitate the amazing Arijit Singh & Atif Aslam or whoever to get instant success or due to label pressures, I want to sound like myself, I have my own style of singing, I am Samiir. I rather am okay being less popular than imitating someone else”
Samiir says “I knocked a lot of doors for opportunities for years at a lot of powerful established people who always appreciated me & my voice but never really did anything for me. So I decided to build my own door & that’s when I switched to advertisements & jingles in 2015, independent singles & live shows because in the end you can’t keep waiting for years hoping someone will give you a break, you see you are all up to you & I had to take care of my mother & dog. This journey has only made me strong. That’s when I started to write my own songs, compose & taught myself to arrange, mix master my own songs as I didn’t have enough finance to make audios”
Samiir, now has gained immense popularity through his Live shows. He recently performed in Turkey with his band & has an America tour lined up. His huge fan following in the U.S & Europe & Pakistan& India has got the singer over 200K followers on Facebook & Instagram.
Samiir has performed over 800 live shows till date & plans to release music independently in the future. His upcoming love single ‘Tum’ releases on 6th January 2023 followed by a peppy song ‘Jaane Jaana’ directed by Udit Singh.
