11705 children were vaccinated in the Pulse Polio drive held by Rotary Club of Pune, Baner in association with IIEBM

Pune (Maharashtra) [India]: Pulse Polio drive was held by Rotary Club of Pune Baner in association with Indian Institute of Education and Business Management (IIEBM) on the  National Immunization Day For Polio  recently. PMC doctor, Dr. Ganesh Damale, Ward Medical Officer, Dr. Maya Lohar, (Dhanori Ward Medical Officer) and her team participated in the polio vaccination campaign and vaccinated 11705 infants. Dr. Bhagwan Pawar, CMO of PMC and Dr. Rajesh Dighe, Assistant Immunization Officer actively participated in this campaign and conducted this campaign under their guidance. 

Rtn Jignessh Karria, President Rotary club of Pune Baner said, “Assistant Commissioner of Aundh Baner Ward Mr. Girish Dapkekar helped us to coordinate with the medical teams of PMC.  We are grateful to Aundh Baner PMC Ward for giving us the opportunity to conduct the Polio Campaign”.

350 students of Institute of Education and Business Management (IIEBM) College actively participated in the campaign. Dr. Jai Singh Marwaha, Managing Director IIEBM and Dean Dr. Poonam Nikam, faculty of  IIEBM, Dr. Vishal Bhole, Sandeep Kanse, Chandrakala Rai also participated in the program.

Madhukar Deshmukh, Rtn. Kishore Garme, Rtn. Neelima Bhate, Rtn. Archana Vaidya, Rtn. Priiya (FL) Karria, Rtn. Nitin Wagh, Rtn. Anirudh Joshi, Mrs. Prajakta Joshi, Mrs. Pranjali Girme and  Mrs. Reshma Samarth were involved in the pulse polio drive.
